Fun fact: Made putts of doubling length (5 feet, 10 feet, 20 feet) for three birdies in a row on holes 14-16

T-2. Jim Herman (66, Plantation Course)

Great run: Herman came home in 6-under 30, including an eagle 3 at the par-5 finisher

T-2. Tom Hoge (64, Seaside Course)

Clean card: Hoge went bogey-free for his lowest round since an opening 62 at the Wyndham Champ. in August

T-2. Kyle Stanley (66, Plantation Course)

Stanley had a little bit of everything on the card: 8 pars, 6 birdies, 2 bogeys and an eagle

T-2. Kevin Chappell (66, Plantation Course)

Chappell was even more egalitarian, making 8 pars and 8 birdies against 2 bogeys

T-2. Scott Stallings (66, Plantation Course)

Stallings had the longest birdie streak among the leaders, with four in a row before two closing pars

T-2. Si Woo Kim (66, Plantation Course)

Kim birdied half of his final 12 holes, overcoming a bland even-par start through 6 holes
