Martin Flores, Robert Karlsson, Austin Cook and Brian Maurer all played their way into this week's Sanderson Farms Championship on the back of their performances in the Monday qualifier, held at Deerfield Golf Club in Jackson, Miss.

Flores was medalist in the 18-hole event, shooting 8-under 64. Karlsson was runner-up, two behind Flores. Meanwhile, Cook, Maurer and Wade Binfield wound up in a three-for-two playoff after each shooting 68.

The 33-year-old Flores gets his first start of this new PGA Tour season after finishing 156th in FedEx Cup points last year. His best finish was a T-16 at the Puerto Rico Open. He missed the cut here last year.

Karlsson played just two events on the PGA Tour last season, finishing T-55 at the Puerto Rico Open. However, he finished T-13 at the British Masters last month.

For Cook, this is his ninth PGA Tour start and, remarkably, his fourth earned through Monday qualifying. Cook parlayed three Monday successes into seven PGA Tour starts last year, including a pair of top-10 finishes, earning $537,648 in prize money.

Maurer, who turns 29 on Nov. 14, has no Web.com or PGA Tour status, playing in just a pair of Mackenzie Tour events in Canada this year.
