After a one-week break, the second half of the FedEx Cup playoffs start on Thursday with the BMW Championship at Conway Farms in Illinois, just north of Chicago. The tournament returns after a one-year stop at Cherry Hills near Denver, where Billy Horschel won the first of two consecutive playoff victories to take the FedEx Cup.
Jason Day, a winner in three of his last five starts, is the betting favorite this week, starting at 7-to-1 odds. Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy is actually the second favorite at 17-to-2, while Jordan Spieth, who missed consecutive cuts for the first time in his PGA Tour pro career in the first two playoff events, is going off at 11-to-1.
