The second leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs starts on Friday at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass., with the Deutsche Bank Championship. The top 100 players in FedEx Cup points -- minus Sergio Garcia, who is skipping -- will take on the Gil Hanse-redesigned track with a Monday finish.

Jason Day, who has won three of his last four PGA Tour starts, is the betting favorite to make it three wins in a row this week, going off at 6-to-1 odds. Jordan Spieth, who just lost his No. 1 ranking, and Rory McIlroy, who picked it back up while idle last week, are off at 15-to-2 odds.

Dustin Johnson and former Deutsche Bank Championship winner Henrik Stenson are off at 14-to-1.
