Andreas Harto proposes to girlfriend after birdie in Denmark

Andreas Harto is probably the happiest pro golfer to ever have missed a cut.

Harto won't play the weekend in his native Denmark after posting 5-over 147 at the Made in Denmark event on the European Tour. However, Harto has the weekend free to celebrate his engagement after proposing to his girlfriend on golf course.

After Harto made birdie on the par-3 16th at Himmerland Golf & Resort Spa, he asked for his girlfriend to come out of the gallery and near the green. That's where Harto popped the question, reveling in the kudos from the home country gallery. Of course, she said yes.

The 27-year-old Harto has three Challenge Tour wins, but his playing opportunities have been limited on the European Tour this year. He finished T-18 in the rescheduled Madeira Islands Open, which was co-sanctioned with the Challenge Tour. This was just his second European Tour start of 2015, but he made the most of it.
