Watching golf on TV can be a drag sometimes. For as many good voices there are describing the action, some are too grating to stand. It leads to people turning off telecasts or muting them to power through it.
Well, we're offering an alternative.
During this week's WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, Golf News Net will provide a daily two-hour broadcast of complementary audio coverage during tournament play. It's not play-by-play coverage, but rather a two-hour version of our weekly "The 19th Hole Golf Show" podcast that coincides with TV coverage. We'll talk about players in the hunt, offer analysis heading into the PGA Championship and just have a good time.
You can find our coverage on Rabble.TV, a new service which allows you to broadcast your point of view during live sporting events, TV programs or anything else you want. It's a revolutionary idea which should give way to new voices that fill the void left unfilled by traditional broadcasting.
Coverage Times:
THURSDAY -- 3-5 p.m. ET
FRIDAY -- 9-11 a.m. ET
SATURDAY -- TBD
SUNDAY -- TBD
