John Daly doesn't try to hide that he smokes. In fact, he once lauded it as a part, along with Diet Coke, of his weight-loss plan. But what does the 1995 Open champion do with all of those cigarette butts while playing golf?
Well, as Daly was preparing for his second round at St. Andrews on Friday, he dropped a newly finished cigarette butt onto the ground in front of his ball on the driving range and launched both into the sky.
Daly shot 1-under 71 to start the week at the Old Course and had to wait over three hours to start Round 2 thanks to a half-inch of overnight rain that flooded the Home of Golf.
