No matter what you think of Bubba Watson personally, it's impossible to deny his incredible golf talent. The two-time Masters winner put that skill on display on Friday at 2015 U.S. Open host site Chambers Bay.
While preparing for the second major of the year next week, Watson and caddie Ted Scott surveyed a putt on one of the large, tricky greens at the Washington course. Instead of taking the more direct route to the hole, Watson decided he would turn his back to the hole (he's a lefty, remember) and putt sideways, up a hill.
Putting & reading the greens well so far!! Good read @jtedscott!!#USOpenChambersBay pic.twitter.com/9Iobm55qUS

Wouldn't you know it that the ball went out just far enough up the hill, then came back down the slope and into the cup.
Who knows how many takes it took, but it really doesn't matter. That's awesome. But you know what's more awesome? The sideways putt Jodi Ewart-Shadoff made in competition for par at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship.
