Guy’s wife won’t let him play golf, so he’s selling his clubs on Craig’s List

A Delaware man, who is going by Tim K., has posted a For Sale ad on Craig's List looking to unload some slightly used Mizuno JPX 825 irons.

Why? Because his new wife won't let him play golf anymore.

Tim has been married about a year, and the missus has banned him from playing golf. So rather than, say, looking for a good divorce attorney, Tim is selling his gently used sticks.

Here's the full text of the ad:

For sale. Slightly used mizuno Jpx 825 irons (3-Pw). Probably used about four times. The clubs are awesone, hit well, great feel and control. I absolutely love them.

I'm only selling them because I got married a year ago and my wife no longer lets me play golf. Actually she doesn't let me do anything fun. So I'm hoping I can find them a good home. Preferably id like to sell them to a single guy who has no intention of ever getting married, but I know that's not completely fair.

I also have a bag and driver I can throw in there too for a few bucks.

Emails preferred and we can go from there. Looking to get $500, but realistically it doesn't matter how much they sell for since the money will go towards buying my wife more useless shit.

Thanks for understanding,

Tim K

The truth, Tim, is that we need to have a talk. Marriage isn't about doing only what your wife wants or will allow you to do. It's about compromise. Here's a good example.

You: "Honey, I'm going to go take these gorgeous Mizuno irons and play some golf."

Wife: "No, you're not. And, no, I don't have a good reason why."

You: "Uh, yup, I am. See you in five hours, when I will cook a tasty dinner. Next weekend, we'll do something together."

Wife: "That sounds lovely. See you soon."

And if that doesn't work, then maybe it's time to realize you just made a huge mistake.
