There was almost a 100-yard par 4 at TPC Four Seasons. That's right.
Torrential downpours forced a three-hour weather delay in the morning. As crews were working to prepare the course for Cut Day play, they found the fairway at the par-4 14th was beyond repair for Round 2. What's the PGA Tour to do? Well, their initial solution was to put a tee box in a part of the fairway that was playable and shorten the hole to 100 yards, keeping it a par 4.
Due to unplayable fairway due to rain on #14 @attbyronnelson, the par-4 hole will play roughly at 100 yards in R2. Still a par-4. #PGATour

However, the Tour got wiser and changed par for the day from 70 to 69, making this a par 3.
The decision has now been made to play the 14th hole as a par-3 during the second round @attbyronnelson. #PGATour

Andrew Magee is the only player to ever have made a par-4 hole-in-one in PGA Tour history, doing so in the 2001 Waste Management Phoenix Open. However, that hole was approximately 300 yards.
Earlier this season, Aaron Baddeley made a hole-in-three at the Valero Texas Open, holing his second tee shot on the 336-yard par-4 17th at TPC San Antonio after declaring a lost ball with his initial tee shot.
