People usually interpret the phrase "no frills" as describing something that's cheap and very basic. They also tend to perceive that as a bad thing.

In the case of the Izzo Golf Swami Sport GPS, that perception would be wrong.

Izzo has always made good, easy-to-use GPS products, and this one is no exception. For just $65, the Swami Sport delivers the basic information any golfer needs in a small package.

The device fits easily in any hand or pocket, either in your clothes or golf bag. Turning it on reveals a bright screen that quickly acquires GPS satellites to figure out the course you're playing.

PURCHASE: Buy the Izzo Golf Swami Sport GPS from PlayBetter.com!

From there, the unit delivers front, middle and back numbers for each hole. The user can enter their score for each hole.

And that's really it. But that's all you really need. The unit performs well and is accurate.

The product charges via a USB cable, but it can last for 10 hours on a single charge. That means the device can run for two rounds without having to worry about it dying on the back nine of your big money match.

The Izzo Golf Swami Sport GPS (MSRP $80) is a great product for the golfer that wants easy to access data that won't require sliding to open a phone app or busting out a rangefinder to shoot a number you won't hit anyway.

No frills is just right.
