A fan at the LPGA Lotte Championship had an extended ride on the Struggle Bus on Friday.
The fan managed to lose his hat in the windy conditions at Ko Olina Resort, and the hat blew into a water hazard. So the fan decided to go into the water to retrieve it. How the guy got that far inside the ropes and then into the hazard to get the hat is beyond me, but after he gets the hat, he then has a hard time climbing up out of the water.
In the process of trying to get out of the water with the retrieved hat, the man lost his beer. He eventually gets out with the hat, but sans beer, and with a fast-approaching cart of folks who probably escorted the fan off the property.
So, to review: The fan got his hat back and lost his beer and likely his ticket.
