Bubba Watson is the guest of honor for the second time in three years at the 2015 Masters champions dinner.
In 2013, Watson served a Caesar salad and grilled chicken breast with sides of macaroni and cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn and cornbread. For dessert, Watson offered confetti (funfetti?) cake a la mode with vanilla ice cream.
So what's on the 2015 Masters champions dinner menu? The 36-year-old played coy last month.
"We are definitely going to have food," Watson said Monday during a pre-Masters teleconference.
However, it turns out that Watson is serving the exact same menu as in 2013.
“It’s the same meal because it’s from my mom” Watson said Tuesday. “Home-cooked meal and that’s why I do it.”
Watson's looking to become just the fourth player to repeat as Masters champion, joining Faldo (1989-90), Jack Nicklaus (1965-66) and Tiger Woods (2001-02). If he's going to do that, he may already have a diet for the week. In both 2012 and '14, Watson said he ate one or two burritos each night of tournament week -- filled with chicken, rice, black beans and cheese.
Stating what's obvious to the superstitious, Watson said, "So maybe this year I should do all burritos again."
