Engagement and newborn photos are kind of strange things. They're an attempt to encapsulate a really happy, bizarre time in your life -- transitions toward commitments that will dramatically change your perspective, responsibilities and outlook. Maybe that awkwardness is why they turn out so many creative poses.
James Hahn is not only a new winner on the PGA Tour, taking the Northern Trust Open last month in a playoff over Dustin Johnson and Paul Casey, but he is also a new father. Hahn and his wife are proud parents of a new daughter, born during the week of the WGC-Cadillac Championship.
So, of course, it makes sense to combine those two massive firsts into a single photo. Jesica Watkins took the picture of Hahn's daughter resting inside the Northern Trust Open trophy. What a beautiful moment.
