Lexi Thompson made it look easy on the par-3 14th in Round 1 of the HSBC Women's Champions on Thursday. Using a sawed-off 7-iron to fight the wind, Thompson made an ace on the 153-yard hole at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore.
The hole-in-one was huge for Thompson's round, as it was just one of two holes where she didn't make par on Thursday. She had a birdie on the par-4 10th and 16 other pars to turn in a 3-under 69 that has her tied for ninth, three shots behind co-leaders Yani Tseng and Inbee Park.
