Michelle Wie beat Charles Barkley in beer pong in the offseason

Michelle Wie had a good offseason. She got to go home, see old friends, do a little sponsor glad-handing and relax after winning her first major at the U.S. Women's Open.

"I did a Nike commercial shoot which was really awesome as well too, and then just got to meet, hang out with Charles Barkley then and did a Hawaii 5-0 shoot, went back home, you know, I'm officially an actress now," Wie said Tuesday at the LPGA season-opening Coates Golf Championship in Ocala, Fla.

Apparently, Barkley took a shining to Wie, and word had gotten back to a reporter who wondered what advice the Chuckwagon gave her. Wiesy didn't seem to recall.

"He did?" she asked. "I just remember beating him at beer pong, that's all I remember."

Considering you could play beer pong on Wie's back when she putts, you might not expect she's got pong game. But with her height and touch, it seems pretty obvious she could toast most any challenger. Rack 'em!
