Tiger Woods is going to be a restaurateur. Woods will be owner of The Woods Jupiter: Sports and Dining Club, which will open in Harbourside Place, a planned development in downtown Jupiter, Fla., where Woods lives.
The opening date is tentatively set for the first quarter of 2015. The restaurant's concept is also still in development, but it is expected to take up 5,900 square feet of indoor spacing plus outdoor seating for dining.
“I envision a place where people can meet friends, watch sports on TV and enjoy a great meal,” Woods said in a news release. “I wanted to build it locally where I live and where it could help support the community.”
The development opens Oct. 15 and, when complete, will have a marina, amphitheater and a Wyndham hotel.
