What are the Americans pairs going to be for the Ryder Cup?

If the practice groups on Tuesday at the Ryder Cup are any indication -- and we think they are -- there's a good chance the pairings for at least the first day of the matches are pretty well set.

It looks like Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley will remain together, as they went 3-0 together at Medinah.

Webb Simpson was basically put on this team to be with friend Bubba Watson, and that appears to remain true. They went 2-1 together two years ago.

Utility hitter Jim Furyk has likely been slotted to join with excitable rookie Patrick Reed. Matt Kuchar and Jordan Spieth -- again, opposite demeanors -- should be a team. Rickie Fowler seems to have found a partner with Jimmy Walker.

Zach Johnson and Hunter Mahan look like a team in the making, with Mahan likely to replace Jason Dufner as the guy anchored to the '07 Masters winner.
