A child's smile, their laugh -- it's the greatest thing. Seeing a child experience something wonderful for the first time can make you day.

Lachlan is 7 weeks old and born deaf. Fortunately, cochlear devices, including implants, have come a long way in recent years. They're accessible for children at early ages, almost like glasses. Lachlan's parents had their son outfitted with such a device and captured his first moments hearing on video. The smile that comes over Lachlan's face as he realizes he can hear his mama is heartwarming.

Just watch it on a loop all day.
